Circa 1935, H.M. WEGENER is a Curt Knebel hybrid. An oldie but a goodie, large round waxy inner petals are burnt orange with a slight red overcast highlighted by a magenta throat. The outer petals of this large (8+ inch) Epiphyllum bloom are burnt orange with red overcast. An exceptionally reliable bloomer, perfect for anyone wanting an extremely easy to grow Epiphyllum that will give you 5 to 10 blooms every year.

When established the plant has thick flat growth that is 2 – 4 inches wide. On average the branches grow between 1 and 2 feet per year. Easy to grow we recommend this Epiphyllum variety for every level of grower. (perfect variety for the 1^st time grower)
