Registered in 1999, Vern Hettinger is a George French hybrid. A beautiful and showy Epiphyllum bloom that is a must have for any collection. Two rows of overlapping inner petals have a dark fuchsia mid-stripe that blends out to a soft light fuchsia edge. The outermost petals of this extra large (9+ inches) flower are deep red.

When established the plant has flat growth that is 1 – 3 inches wide. On average the branches grow 2-3 feet per year. Easy to grow we recommend this Epiphyllum variety for every level of grower.

Each Epiphyllum plant is rooted in a 4” pot and has been growing for 1 to 3 seasons. We ensure each plant is well rooted and most are ready for transplanting into bigger pots.
