Registered in 1983, STAR OF SONOMA is a Frank Kirby hybrid. This Epiphyllum is very striking; large round slightly ruffled inner petals have a bright red midstripe & tip blending to a light reddish pink edge. This extra large (9+ inches) Epiphyllum bloom has long spiky outer petals that are solid red.

When established the plant has flat growth that is 1 – 3 inches wide. On average the branches grow 1 - 2 feet per year. We recommend this Epiphyllum variety for every level of grower.

Each Epiphyllum plant is rooted in a 4” pot and has been growing for 1 to 2 seasons. We ensure each plant is well rooted and most are ready for transplanting into bigger pots.
