Registered in 1953 by Dr. Robert Poindexter, BLACKAMORE is a beautiful vibrant flower. With wide slightly ruffled inner petals of dark purple with a lighter purple edge. The 2^nd row of petals has the same color variations with smooth edges. The outermost petals of this outstanding large (8+ inch) bloom are dark red with just a touch of purple.
