Registered in 1955, Climax is a Fort and O’ Barr hybrid.

Sometimes you just can’t top the older Epiphyllum varieties. Still a favorite today, this is such a beautiful bloom. The inner petals are light lavender with a darker midstripe and some blushing. The outer petals are dark purple with a red overcast and lighter edge. This is a great flower for those just starting to grow Epiphyllum, you get the wow factor in an easy to grow plant. A medium size bloom averaging 6 inches across.

When established this Epiphyllum plant has thick flat growth. Branches are 2 -3 inches wide and grow 2-3 feet per year. Tipping will encourage this variety to branch more. We recommend this Epiphyllum for every level of grower.
