Registered in 1998, RED MONARCH is a Dan Dawson hybrid. Your jaw will drop when you see this flower open for the first time. Large round inner petals are true red that blends out to a light cerise outer edge. The color combination is magnificently striking. The outer petals of this extra large (10+ inch) beauty are a deep blood red. This is a definite must have for your collection.

When established the plant has flat growth that is 2 – 4 inches wide. On average the branches grow about 2 - 3 feet per year. This is a very strong and easy grower. We recommend this Epiphyllum variety for every level of grower.
